Site Improvements & Featured Posts

So, today I have turned my talents at vibe coding, or perhaps I should say GitHub Copilot's talents at vibe coding, towards improving the look and feel of this web site.

Apart from security improvements, most of this so far has turned on the long-standing issue of the massive theme rewrites needed to support various other improvements and to get the latest post rendered on the actual home page, which if you're reading this, you can probably see.

Other changes will be coming in the not-to-distant future, hopefully starting with the much-asked-for random post button and the tag cloud page. But it's a start.

I'd also like to post an open invitation for those familiar with the large body of my work to nominate posts which they feel are particularly good contributors to understanding the 'verse at large to be added to the featured posts bar up there, next to "Welcome to the Empire!" and "Blue and Orange Morality".
